I'm dubious about the zero-point energy, though. Reasons:
1. With all the plans and hype about zero-point energy, so far historically no one has yet publicly generated even 1 watt of power via any zero-point energy system.
2. Once this is done, and it has not yet occurred, there's a whole scale-up process which may take years or decades.
3. I question whether humanity has either the wisdom or the maturity to responsibly handle zero-point energy. Our species inherited something similar in its first few centuries of using fossil fuels and didn't behave in a mature and responsible way. We're the same species. Zero-point energy, should it ever be practicable, has hidden traps and unintended consequences.

While A.I. as a foe of humanity seems like a Hollywood script, I think it's best seen from the angle of information warfare.
Hollywood likes to over-fictionalize A.I. with plots about nefarious tyrants saving their "consciousness" to a hard drive and living in the network, but that will never happen. That approach makes false materialistic assumptions about consciousness, rejecting any sort of spiritual component to it.
However, if A.I. can produce deep fake videos, fake photos, and fake written content, it can create propaganda. And that's the real danger to humanity. Especially in the hands of the people who run the WEF.
It seems that everywhere we turn, we're in the middle of a psyop wrapped within another psyop.

I'd like to add a thing from personal experience. I would like to confirm, from personal experience, one of things David said.
For years I had a close friend, a military veteran, who specialized in making very advanced Darpa-style AI using some sort of advanced recurrent neural network. I believe it was a 'hardware in software' quantum neural network platform. Possibly related to //BULLRUN/APERIODIC per the Snowden releases. My friend never told me any of this but I later deduced it from available evidence.
This friend had a hobby of making smart bots that emulated a human personality and using them for all sorts of things. Dropping them into online games was the one I observed in practice. In particular, in a private 1st person shooter server my friend once introduced me to a custom a AI bot with my personality. My friend never said what was special about this bot but it quickly became obvious. It had my reflexes, my strategic and tactical sense and patterns, and my sense of humor. It effectively commanded others with capable leadership. It seemed to understood humor and would riff on others' jokes. It cracked jokes that sounded just like me and that made others laugh. This was all in-game text chat only, no verbal. It had my speech patterns, & erudition in its text. It seemed to know many of the things I know. I was able to interact with this bot at will for about two weeks. I probably spent 20-30 hours interacting with it. Sometimes we would be on the same team and it would engage in teamwork with me that smacked of telepathy - it would know and anticipate my behavior in a way that resulted in perfect teamwork. This was in 2005, in the very early days of the current AI technology breakthrough.
Overall, while this was a lot of fun, it also had a distinctly creepy and chilling feel. I've spent a lot of time since then considering the implications. They are many and deep.
This is the same technology David refers to in his article. Imagine an AI trained on your data to know you better than you know yourself. It could perform most of the same mental tasks as you: writing, computer programming, playing a computer game, solving whatever mental problems you are able to solve with a similar or superior skill level.
Now imagine that entity warped toward evil such that it's job is to manipulate you. It controls some AI information feeds you receive. Knowing your biases and how you think it can thus steer you towards any existing bias. This represents powerful and dangerous mind control technology.
This manipulation can explain the rift driven into our social networks these past few years. Consider all those people in your lives whose world view differs from yours on basic facts. You can't even agree on basic facts. They seem ruled by their biases. There is estrangement. All just since Spring of 2020. I suspect many people reading this have experienced the same thing.
I just realized that the 'evil AI double' that David wrote about, and with which I have personal experience, is capable of causing that estrangement from a fraction of our social circle we've all experienced. The one I experienced was just me, not warped toward evil, but I can see how the potential was there.
